This little, midwestern city is known for many thing - cold weather, football, the paper industry, cheese manufacturers, farms - but fine dining, which is growing here, has not been in the spotlight... until now.
Here is a list of great establishments that I consider fine dining. Quality food, elegant atmosphere, great service, and an innovative menu that changes seasonally. Not all of the restaurants below are formal, though, but their menu holds up to the dining standard.
Pricing falls into the $25-$40 per plate category. I took offense to a quote in the Green Bay Press-Gazette in the past from a former Packer player that said the fine dining in Green Bay is comprised of Applebee's.

While the places listed above are some of the most innovative restaurants catering to gourmet palates, there are so many other places in this city that also offer wonderful dining choices that are more of the midwest typical variety. Get ready for large portions here... we go big!
