With generations of descendants from Germany, Poland, and Belgium, love of beer is in the blood of many Wisconsinites.
While visiting Green Bay don't overlook a great opportunity to enjoy the skilled brewmasters' labor of love by visiting four great craft breweries here. These fast-growing craft beer brewers have expanded and new tasting rooms are ready to thoroughly enjoy.
Titletown Brewing has a huge new brewhouse and tasting room across the street from it's current restaurant. With an affinity towards historic buildings, Titletown's new digs is no exception. With a gorgeous rooftop tasting room and a glorious sweeping view of downtown, the view is as good as the beer! They offer brewery tour and frequently host entertainment in their lower tap room. This brewery has won national awards for it's beer, atmosphere, and restaoration of a historic property. In winter it is the best place in town to sit around a warm fireplace and enjoy a cold beer and a maintain a beautiful wintery view.
Badger State Brewing is an easy walk from Lambeau Field. They completed a huge expansion and are located just down the street from the stadium.
With a tasting room offered here, as well, it's a great opportunity to
see the diverse styles of craft beer our locally grown ingredients can
produce.
Hinterland Brewery's new brewhouse and tasting room is open across from Lambeau Field. This is the most convenient brewery to visit if you are rolling into town for a game. Though crowded on home-game weekends, it is worth the wait. Paired with an exceptional dining option, this new expansion is a giant leap forward in elevating the craft beer experience. This is one of the established breweries in the city and one that features the high-end personalities. Another perk of this brewery is the connection to the upscale Kohler Hotel - one of the most luxurious properties in the city.
The fourth brewery is the Stillmank Brewery located at 215 North Henry Street in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Noble Roots is the sixth craft brewering establishment in The Bay.Located on the far east side of Green Bay, conveniently located closest to the UWGB campus. With a dog-friendly patio, this is a great location to sneak away from the rush of the crowds. A beautlful tasting room atmosphere with a huge selection of their brews to choose from. Bring 50 of your friends, the place is big enough!
Copper State Brewing is now open in the location in downtown left vacant by Hinterland Brewing when they moved to the Lambeau Field location. Also a coffee roasting company, the smaller selection of fine crafted beer and a pleasant lunch dining menu makes this a natural stop on the list of "must taste" places on your tour. Offering a cozy tasty environment, this is one place you will want to linger, especially in winter.
