The Packer Heritage Trail

Who doesn't love to visit a small town with a big and legendary pro football team?  Football fans will appreciate the new Packer Heritage Trail as a new feature in the city. It is a self-guided walking tour of the historic landmarks affiliated with the history of the Green Bay Packers.  Put together by historians, this trail is free and has various legs to explore in different sections of the city.  With so many of these historic places, it was fun for me to discover facts about them that I had never realized.  As I make my way through the city I will capture the signs for your virtual touring pleasure.  Below are a few photos of the markers. I will continue to update this page as I visit them and record them for your viewing pleasure.

The Heritage Trail begins in downtown Green Bay on the corner of Cherry and Washington Streets.  Work on the trailhead is now complete and features a large display of bronze states and historical data on the old Packers team.

To see the Walk of Fame and more Packers iconic points of interest throughout the Stadium area, see my other featured blog here:  Packers Walk of Legends
